Meet Our Owner, Ben Costa

Hi there, I’m Ben Costa, owner and founder of Costa Tree Service (formerly Costa Property Maintenance). I was raised in Hartland, WI, just a few miles down the road from where my family and business reside today. Growing up in this area with quick access to beautiful parks, trails and lakes, my love of the outdoors was fostered at a young age and became an integral part of my life as I grew older.

After a decade of building homes in Colorado and working in the tree industry in Wisconsin, I decided to start Costa Property Maintenance in 2012. I’ve always considered myself a leader and quickly sought out how to become the best at my profession. I’m proud of my business, my crew and the work we do everyday. I love interacting with our customers, working outdoors and seeing a project through from start to finish.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jen, our daughters, Nora and Hazel, and our two dogs - Brutus, our yellow lab, and Bandit, our recent rescue pup. We love everything outdoors – camping, hiking, being on the lake and exploring new places. During the off-season, you can find me in Upper Michigan snowmobiling with my brother, Josh.
